History

It all started at 5 years Old.

My Mom took me to a church garage sale, where I picked up 2 albums.

King of The Blues "BB King" and Chet Atkins with "Freight Train" on it.

When the needle dropped...that was it...I was hooked forever!

I got my first Roy Rogers Guitar...wish I still had it...but I found the old lamp.

They say everybody starts somewhere...for me 1959

Finally My First Electric Guitar! My Grandfather: Walter Russell...yes that's were my first name came from, got me my beloved "KAY" guitar and Pine amp...tubes of course, and made in Canada proudly.

What a day, I pitched a crappy baseball game but when I got home...there it was.

Thanks Grandpa Russell

Finally a full time playing gig at Lassetter's Den. 1972 Still in school and gigging 5 days a week!

What a joy...

Great shot of the Lasseter's Den House Band "Easy Meat" Named after A Frank Zappa reference.

Really great group with Tom Lavin (Powder Blues) who not only played good guitar, but drums and Bass.

David Lanz, who went on to to be a highly respected New Age Artist.

Our Dear friend Vince Nardulli who I played

with in the Blues Dimension when we were kids. Fantastic Singer and showman.

Vince was killed in a ship accident, and we still miss him today.
